Brief:
Telemarketing + Renewals

Solution:
I built a telemarketing and telesales department from scratch for Fortum, selling electricity and gas to business customers. After establishing that sales team I was promoted to managing a portfolio of 3,000 business customers.

My job was to renew their annual contracts which I did most successfully, as I never lost more than a handful of customers in any given month, and some months I did not lose a single customer.

At the same time I was selling 3-year contracts when everyone else was selling 1 year deals, and this got be promoted again to look after all energy brokers south of Birmingham who controlled a lot of the biggest UK energy contracts.
